If you had to wear course uniform – like a Polo Shirt or Course Sweater, could it be gotten away with may-be not wearing 1 or another uniform item – wuld this be possible? Thanks.

Generally not being part of the Uni/course team is frowned upon.
How much depends on the individual course.
When you take part in a sporting activity you are representing your course, and the idea of wearing the set uniform is [1] so you are known as a member of that course, [2] people who have different backgrounds aren’t going to feel better/worse than other team members as everyone is wearing the same uniform.
It is also advertising for the course, especially if you win something.
If you don’t have pride in yourself and your chosen course then why are you doing it???
If I was your course tutor I would not allow you to join in on group activities (such as matches against other Unis, activity weekends etc) if you were not willing to show your commitment to the course by wearing a simple polo shirt of sweater.
What’s the problem? Most course uniforms are quite conservative. Boring blue, banal beige etc. They won’t insist you turn up wearing gold lamé and shocking pink!
Sports Courses are very keen on team membership, bonding etc. Oddballs and individuals aren’t generally successful on Sporst Courses.

you should play things you like but you could also just look around and see what guys have a lot of girls and play that sport or whatever i am a lot younger than you but at my school normally it is guys who play football or basketball and maybe soccer, the guy i am going out with plays basketball anyway hope this helps
